OpenVideoMaker adds Seedream 5.0: a new commercial image entry

Seedream 5.0 is now available in OpenVideoMaker for product showcases, character-style visuals, lifestyle scenes, and commercial image tasks.

Seedream 5.0 launch visual

Seedream 5.0 is now available in OpenVideoMaker. Users can select it on the Seedream page for product displays, character-style visuals, lifestyle scenes, and general visual assets.

The Seedream page now centers on Seedream 5.0. Older versions are still available as supplemental choices, but this post focuses only on the newest connected version.

What Seedream 5.0 can be used for

  • Ecommerce product images and brand scene visuals
  • Images that need clear materials, clothing, or spatial mood
  • Image tasks with clear detail and direction
  • Creative drafts and visual direction exploration

You can generate images with Seedream 5.0 first, then decide whether to continue into video workflows.

Suggested workflow

Open the Seedream page and describe the intended use first: ad image, product scene, poster, cover, or storyboard. Then add the subject, scene, shot distance, and color direction.

If you want a series of images, keep the same style terms and camera language, and only change the subject or scene variables. That makes the results easier to organize later into landing pages, ad sets, or video reference frames.

Tips and workflow

Seedream 5 supports Web Search — you can add product keywords to your prompt to pull in up-to-date information. Multi-reference image editing works well for outfit changes and style transfers.

What this launch adds

Seedream 5.0 expands the set of image model options in OpenVideoMaker. Brand visuals, product images, and short-video cover images can all start from this page.
