Seedance 2.0 is now available in OpenVideoMaker. Users can select it on the Seedance page for product, character, camera-motion, and image-to-video tasks.
If you already have a reference image, you can focus the video prompt on motion, camera movement, and atmosphere instead of redescribing the whole frame.
What Seedance 2.0 can be used for
- Product showcase clips and short ad shots
- Light character motion such as turning or blinking
- Camera push-ins or pull-backs from a fixed frame
- Image-to-video opening frames
Suggested workflow
You can first generate a reference image in an image model, then open the Seedance page. The video prompt can focus on motion, camera movement, and atmosphere changes.
The camera slowly pushes in, soft light moves across the product surface, subtle reflections shift, premium commercial mood, smooth motion
This separates the task more clearly: image models for the frame, video models for motion.
Tips and workflow
Seedance can use up to 9 reference images and 3 reference videos at the same time. In the prompt, focus on motion and camera instructions rather than redescribing the frame.
Gentle ocean waves rolling onto a sandy beach, golden sunset light, slow camera drift along the shoreline, peaceful mood
What this launch adds
Seedance 2.0 adds another video model option to OpenVideoMaker and introduces a new image-to-video entry point.
